Diamond Nexus Labs
If you search the web for Diamond Nexus Labs jewelry products you will find a number of articles that question the actual material composition used in Diamond Nexus products. When the public discussion turns to debate the question "What is a Diamond Nexus Simultant?" it begs to ask why the company's public relations firm has not done a better job of ending the debate. (see list of posts below)
So, at the bottom of this page is a compilation of articles we found on the Internet that seem to point to a common conclusion. Diamond Nexus stones quite possibly are specially processed, cut or prepared Cubic Zirconium stones. You can dance around the wording but these links allow you to do your own research and come to your own conclusion. If Diamond Nexus would like to send us an official statement on the composition of their diamond simultants, they can send it to: brian@seonj.com

Anderson Materials Email Response
On January 2, 2008 we received an email response from Charles Anderson as follows:
Brian Pasch,
We did analyze a Diamond Nexus diamond simulant and found it to be yttrium oxide stabilized cubic Zirconia, or standard CZ. The link you gave in your note did not lead me to a copy of our report, but the attached file was a copy of our report. The carbon appears to be the usual carbon due to air-adsorbed hydrocarbons, surface-segregated carbon, or organic material rubbed onto a surface. No beneficial properties are to be expected of such carbon.
Best wishes,
Charles
